Beth, in time we will be able to prove the link and role of Scientology. At the present time the evidence is circumstantial. It needs to be very solid.
RD, I suggest that you have a very good and close look at the documents that have been released by Miami University. There is one document that relates to an abuse complaint in 2003.
My alarm bells are ringing over the manner in which this particular complaint was allegedly investigated and dismissed on the grounds that there was a low risk to Theresa.
The complaint was made by a member of the medical staff at Morton Plant Hospital after Theresa had been admitted there because of medical complications in 2003.
I could barely believe my eyes because the person making the complaint stated that Michael Schiavo had been denying his wife antibiotics for a UTI (yes this is a complaint relating to 2003 hospitalisation and discharge back to the Woodside Hospice).
What this means is that Michael has been caught out in yet another lie on oath. He actually said that he would not try to kill Terri through the denial of antibiotics again. I wonder whether Felos advised him that to deny the treatment with antibiotics was not against the law.
The complaint also stated that Michael had his wife discharged from Morton Plant Hospital when she was still very ill from pneumonia.
Yet, the investigator said that there were no grounds for the complaint and it was dismissed, with the comment that Terri's situation was low risk.
